Just down the coast from Boothbay Harbor, visitors can take in a show at Brunswick’s Maine State Music Theatre, which brings professional theater, fully-staged musicals and special events to Maine each summer. Guests can even get back to the Resort in time for a nightcap at the seaside bar. Or, stay close – an assortment of options for those seeking a change of pace after a day on the golf course is right outside the door. Some will opt to take in a movie at the Harbor Theatre, catch a world-class performer at a historic local venue, or join a music and dinner cruise. The downtown’s nightlife is in full swing during the summer – visitors may even find an open mic or a hometown “hootenanny” at the local Opera House.
